Usually when you move to a new area you spend a great deal of time trying to meet people, or maybe just enjoying being anonymous. Not so with our move to Maine. I've been coming to Maine my whole life and went to college in Boston, and of course Charlie is from Boston, So we haven't had to go far for friends and family, they have been coming to us!
Here is Charlie helping Whitney get a taste of what it's like to blow glass. She's an amazing potter, and potters always seem to pick it up really well. She and her husband Drew just spent a week with us. You can read about this on Whit's blog (which is awesome).
Adam and Ann have been pretending to be mild mannered artist types, they are in reality cosmopolitan incredible-type super heros. If you check out Ann's filkr acct. you'll know for sure w/ the images of what they've done turning the an old sawtooth building into affordable housing for artists.
Mom and Dad showed up for an extended visit/retirement adventure. We put them to work for us painting, cleaning and cooking....We've since taken them off the cooking part.

Oh my God Terrill!! Your home and studio are beautiful! And I can't believe your family. Your brother was a kid when I met him! Your folks look great, as do you and Charlie in every picture. Your life looks charmed and I'm so happy for you!
