This article has just appeared in Marin magazine. The designers Joanne Hartley and Jennifer Hershon did a fabulous job of getting pictures of my work in every shot.



Of course my work is really heavily inspired by color. I'm still coming up with alternative ways to recreate colors I love, and can now make several of my favorites four or five different ways . I'm not sure how useful a skill this is, but It seems to be one I'm good at. I rarely make the same thing for very long, although it's almost always my intention to go back, often I go off on some other exploration, and never get back to it. The slinky below is a new one. I'm in love with it. It is one of those shades that that makes you feel you haven't seen color before. The pieces that flank it were created after my favorite client asked for some richer colors:
