Thank-You Jeff, Betsy, and Taylor for a wonderful visit. These folks drove up Massachusetts and spent their weekend hard at work helping us paint the studio. We got a big bump in our energy levels with this infusion of love and support. With walls painted and now the furnace built we feel like opening day is just around the corner. Now we will begin to slowly ramp it up to 2200* to melt glass.
In these photos you see Jeff and Charlie after having replaced shingles where our old meter came out. We salvaged shingles off the portion of wall we removed to install the door. What a difference!
Here is a picture of Diana Cherbuliez (taken by my dad George Waldman) another person I want to thank. She flew out to Oakland and helped us finish up an immense lighting job. Then met us here in Maine to unpack the truck. She is a dervish and I love her.
These are peices Diana helped Charlie cut in half. They are 22" by 8". She built a solid jig that held them in place. Extra important because of the sketchy chop saw rented to cut them with.

I love that picture of Diana. I hadn't seen it on your site before. And the beautiful cones. You must be ready to blow in your new spot soon.
