fiddlehead...

Spring is here!!! these are actually shot in the berkeley botanical garden. I was talking to a friend about fiddleheads, and mentioned all the amazing ferns they have there. We've also got fiddlehead season fast approaching (for the unfamiliar these are the tasty unfurled leaves of the fern, they can be pickled, or stir fried)...
So stay tuned! hopefully I 'll be harvesting some myself this year.
