Our vantage point these days is one where we are thinking about where we left off, where we want to go. and where we are currently. Some projects seem to slow way down as they near their completion, and obviously we are eager to be blowing glass again. All but one of the peices shown here has already sold. The "forest" round with carved lines wasn't finished when we left Oakland. It is one of the first peices I'll work on here, and is part of a body of work I pulled aside to finish on the lathe once our studio here is set up. I enjoy looking back over these pictures and seeing all the different directions, and possibilities to pursue when we get everything up and running. Of course for all we've done more projects crop up every day....
You'll see a unfinished wall where stairs are going. They will run behind the showroom. And then of course the ma of Dresden. We are quite close to the Bridge Academy, and a short run to the river, another whole universe yet to explore..
